How to set up tasks

Tasks are off until a clinic admin turns them on. Once they’re on, VetNotes creates tasks from every recording in your clinic. While they’re off, you can still add tasks by hand.

Where to change it

In VetNotes, go to Settings → Tasks. You can also click the gear icon on the Tasks page.

What you can change

Turn on tasks

1. Go to Settings → Tasks.
2. If you belong to more than one clinic, choose the clinic at the top of the page.
3. Turn on the Tasks switch.
4. Under Task types, turn off any types your clinic doesn’t need.
5. If you want, add Instructions. For example: “Never create charging tasks for medications”.

Changes save straight away. Tasks are created for new recordings from then on.

Note

Only clinic admins can change these settings. Everyone else in the clinic can see them.
