Email clients from VetNotes
You can now email clients your VetNotes content directly from VetNotes. Turn a consult note or a Clinical AI answer into an email and send it in a few clicks.
Benefits
Section titled “Benefits”- Better informed clients. Clients get clear, written instructions they can read again at home.
- Save time. No copying and pasting into another email program.
- Less copying between systems. Write, check and send the email in one place.
- Better compliance. You keep a written record of the instructions and warnings you gave. Every email is saved in VetNotes, and with a PiMS integration (like RxWorks) a copy goes in the client’s record.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”- After a consult. Send a short summary of the visit with home-care instructions.
- After surgery or a dental. Send pain relief, feeding and wound care instructions.
- For a long-term condition. Send a handout, like an osteoarthritis guide for an older dog.
- When there’s a warning to give. Put the signs to watch for in writing, so the client knows when to call.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”There’s an email button in two places:
- On a note, in the row of buttons under the note.
- In Clinical AI, under each answer.
