How to set up Clinical AI

Clinical AI works straight away for everyone in your clinic. There’s nothing to turn on.

A clinic admin can add custom shortcuts, so your clinic’s own messages are one click away. If your clinic has a PiMS integration, Clinical AI can also read patient and client details from your PiMS.

To add one, follow How to set up custom shortcuts.

Every clinic can add VetNotes recordings as sources. If your clinic uses one of these PiMS integrations, Clinical AI can also read a patient’s clinical history and a client’s details from your PiMS:

  • RxWorks and Ascend: search for animals and clients in Add source. Adding a client adds their pets too. Open Clinical AI from a recording that’s linked to a patient, and that patient is added for you. In the VetNotes mobile app, tap ClinicalAI™ when you record from an appointment.
  • RoboVet: open Clinical AI from a recording that’s linked to a patient, and that patient is added for you.
  • Teleos: in the VetNotes mobile app, tap ClinicalAI™ when you record from an appointment. Clinical AI opens with that patient added.
  • Merlin: in the VetNotes Chrome extension, click the sparkle button (Open in Clinical AI). Clinical AI opens with that patient added.

To set up an integration, see PiMS integrations.
