Summarise records from other vets
You can now summarise a patient’s records from other vets directly from VetNotes. Upload the records another clinic sends you, as PDF or Word files, and History Summariser pulls out what matters under clear headings.

When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”- A new client transfers in. Jenny Smith’s old clinic sends six years of records for Tommy. Read the summary before his first visit.
- A referral arrives. A GP vet refers a patient to you. Get the key history before you see them.
- A patient comes back from a specialist or emergency clinic. Catch up on what they found and changed.
- Writing a referral letter. Copy the summary in as a starting point for the history.
