How VetNotes sends notes back to RoboVet

Import info on how VetNotes sends notes back to RoboVet.

VetNotes has append only access to RoboVet consultations, this means there must be an existing RoboVet consult for VetNotes to append notes to.

Recording and syncing process

  1. Open and save a consultation in RoboVet.

  2. Complete recording in VetNotes. VetNotes processes note in 1-2 minutes.

  3. VetNotes finds the most recent consultation for the animal in RoboVet, and appends to the notes.

    1. If no consult for today exists already, it will append to a previous consult. To avoid this, make sure to complete step 1 above.

    2. If there is no consultation in the last 30 days, it will not send to RoboVet initially. You will need to make a consult in RoboVet, then go back to VetNotes and click "Send to PIMS" at the bottom right of a note.
