How to use the VetNotes VisionVPM integration

Automatically integrate your clinical notes with VisionVPM

How it works

  1. Minimise VisionVPM, and open VetNotes a the web-browser or on the mobile app.

  2. VetNotes reads and displays appointments from VisionVPM.

  3. When you're about to record, choose the relevant appointment inside VetNotes. This will link the (subsequent) generated note, with that consult.

  4. Do VetNotes recording as normal.

  5. While recording, VisionVPM retains all normal functionality.

  6. Make sure the VisionVPM clincal history is saved, before VetNotes finishes recording, so that VetNotes can append it's note.

  7. VetNotes will automatically push the note into the VisionVPM clinical history text box, approx 1-2 minutes after completing recording.

Technical Info

  • VetNotes will add it's note below any existing notes. It will not overwrite the existing text.

  • VetNotes will only insert the first note generated into VisionVPM. This will be your default or pre-selected template. Subsequently generated notes will not be inserted.

Quality Control

  • VetNotes will insert "Verified: NO" at the top of each note.

  • After reviewing the note in VisionVPM, staff can remove or update this phrase, so it is explicitly clear that the note has been human-verified.
